TransmitterIndicatorLights
TheindividualholdingthetransmittercanpushtheLock
Drill(Off)buttontostopthedrillrotationandthrust.This
isprimarilyusedtostop/lockoutthedrilloperationsinthe
followingsituations:
Wheninstallingorremovingadrillheadorreamer
Wheneversomeoneneedstoapproachthedrillpipeor
headanywhereinfrontofthemachine
Placingawiperonthedrillpipe
Whenthelocatoroperatoridentiesaproblemrequiring
immediateshutdownofdrilling
Whenitissafetoresumedrilling,theindividualholdingthe
transmittercanpresstheUnlockDrill(On)button.This
buttonsendsasignaltothereceiverthatallowsthemachine
operatortoresetthesystemandrestorethethrustandrotary
functions.
