35. Apply thread locking compound to the 2 lower muf-
fl er mounting bolts (Fig. 529).

36. Loosely install 2 muffl er mounting bolts and lock
washers on the lower muffl er mounting bracket (Fig.

37. Tighten the top 4 muffl er mounting bolts (Fig. 531).

38. Torque the 2 lower muffl er mounting bolts to 29 ft-
