Left Side Fuel Tank Removal
1. Raise the seat and remove the front engine shield
(Fig. 052).
3. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
4. Remove the left rear wheel assembly (Fig. 054).

5. Remove the 4 screws and washers securing the
control panel to the fuel tank (Fig. 055).
2. Turn the fuel shut-off valve to the OFF position (Fig.
053).
