5. Remove the shim(s) (Fig. 935).

7. Remove the closed end cap (Fig. 938).
6. Remove the 8 end cap screws (4 securing each end
cap) (Fig. 936 and Fig. 937).
Note: The bolts securing the end caps to the gear-
box housing are patch lock bolts and must be
replaced with new patch lock bolts.
