39. Press a new bearing race into the inner end of the
pinion housing (Fig. 967).
41. Slide the bearing and shaft assembly into the pinion
housing (Fig. 969).

42. Place the assembly into a press and press a new
bearing into the pinion housing (Fig. 970).
40. Place the pinion shaft assembly in a press and press
the bearing onto the shaft (Fig. 968).
