stop.Checkforoilleaks,loosepartsand
anyothernoticeablemalfunctions.
StoppingtheMachine
1.MovethethrottlecontroltoSlow,disengage
theraise/lowermowcontrol,andmovethe
functionalcontroltoneutral.
2.RotatethestarterkeytoOfftoshuttheengine
off.Removethekeyfromtheswitchtoprevent
accidentalstarting.
3.Closethefuelshut-offvalvesbeforestoringthe
machine.
CheckingtheSafety

disconnectedordamagedthemachinecould
operateunexpectedlycausingpersonalinjury.
•Donottamperwiththeinterlockswitches.
•Checktheoperationoftheinterlock

•Theparkingbrakeisoff.
•Theoperatorisseated.
•ThefunctionalcontrolleverisinMoworTransport.
Thesafetyinterlocksystempreventsthereelsfrom
operatingunlessthefunctionalcontrolleverisinthe
Mowposition.
Performthefollowingsystemchecksdailytobesure
theinterlocksystemisoperatingcorrectly:
1.Sitontheseat,movethetractionpedalto
Neutral,movethefunctionalcontrolleverto
Neutral,andengagetheparkingbrake.
2.Trytodepressthetractionpedal.
Note:Thepedalshouldnotdepress,which
meansthattheinterlocksystemisoperating
correctly.Correcttheproblemifitisnot
operatingproperly.
3.Sitontheseat,movethetractionpedalto
Neutral,movethefunctionalcontrolleverto
Neutral,andengagetheparkingbrake.
4.Movethefunctionalcontrollevertomowor
transportandtrytostarttheengine.
Note:Theengineshouldnotcrank,which
meansthattheinterlocksystemisoperating
correctly.
Correcttheproblemifitisnotoperatingproperly.
5.Sitontheseat,movethetractionpedalto
Neutral,movethefunctionalcontrolleverto
Neutral,andengagetheparkingbrake.
6.Starttheengineandmovethefunctionalcontrol
levertomowortransport.
Note:Theengineshouldkill,whichmeansthat
theinterlocksystemisoperatingcorrectly.

7.Sitontheseat,movethetractionpedalto
Neutral,movethefunctionalcontrolleverto

8.Starttheengine.
9.Releasetheparkingbrake,movethefunctional
controllevertomow,andrisefromtheseat.
