Toachieveaconsistent,highquality–of–cutanda
uniformaftercutappearance,itisimportantthatthe

Adjustthereelspeedcontrolasfollows:
1.Selecttheheight-of-cutatwhichthecuttingunits
areset.
2.Choosethedesiredgroundspeedbestsuited
forconditions.
3.Usingtheappropriategraph(SeeFigure37)for
5,8,11,or14bladecuttingunits,determinethe
properreelspeedsetting.

thepreviousmowingdirection.Alwaysmowinan
alternatepatternfromthepreviousmowingsothat
thegrassbladeswillbelessapttolaydownand
thereforebedifculttotrapbetweenthereelblades
andbedknife.
