Theserviceindicatorlightilluminatesintheeventof
afaultinthemachine.Whenthislightison,youcan
accessthecomputercodestodiagnosetheproblem
byenteringdiagnosticmode.Indiagnosticmode,
theserviceindicatorlightwillashanumberoftimes
givingyoutheerrorcodethatyouoryourdistributor
canusetoidentifytheproblem.
Note:Theenginecannotbestartedindiagnostic
mode.
EnteringDiagnosticMode
1.Stopthemachine,settheparkingbrake,and
turntheignitionkeytoOff.
2.MovetheFunctionalControlLevertothe
Transportposition.
3.EnsurethattheBacklapleverissettoForward
(F).
4.Getoffoftheseat.
5.HoldtheRaise/LowerMowControlintheRaised
position.
6.TurntheignitionswitchtotheRunposition.
7.Countthecodesastheybegintoash(youmay
releasetheRaise/LowerMowControloncethey
beginashing).
Whennished,turnthekeytotheOffpositiontoexit
diagnosticmode.
DeterminingtheErrorCode
Thesystemwilldisplaythelast3faultsthatoccurred
inthelast40hours.Itdisplaysthefaultsthrougha
seriesofblinkinglights,asfollows:
•Iftherearenofaults,thelightwithblinksteadilyat
amediumratewithoutpauses(1Hz).
•Ifthereisafault,itwillrstblinkthetensplace,
followedbyapause,followedbytheonesplace.
Forthefollowingexamples,a#representsablink.
Examples:
–Ifthecodeis15,theblinkpatternwillbe
