CAUTION
Ifyouleavethekeyintheignitionswitch,someonecouldaccidentallystarttheengineand
seriouslyinjureyouorotherbystanders.
Removethekeyfromtheignitionswitchbeforeyoudoanymaintenance.
WARNING
Ifyouraisethemachineusingonlyajacktosupportitwhileyouworkunderthemowerdeck,
thejackcouldtip,causingthemowerdecktofall,crushingyouorbystanders.
Alwayssecurethemachinewithatleast2jackstandswhenyouhavethemowerdeckraised.
CAUTION
Onthetopofthemowerdeckaretwolinksthatconnectthemtotheframe.Connectedto
theselinksaretorsionspringsthatareundertension(Figure12).Ifyoudisconnectthelink
thestoredenergyinthetorsionspringwillbereleasedandcouldcausethelinkstomove,
damagingyourhandsorngers.
Becarefulwhenremovingthemowerdeckfromtheframeandsecurethelinksbefore
disconnectingthemfromtheframe.
