Idler Pulley Service
Apply Loctite 242 or equivalent to threads of bolt secur-
ing idler pulley to deck. Tighten bolt to a torque of 35 to
40 ft-lb.
When installing V-groove idler pulleys, make sure bolt
heads are facing down.
Make sure center idler pulley on center deck is installed
in hole closest to edge of pulley support. Install in
adjacent hole if using optional high speed (larger diame-
ter) gearbox pulley.
