Engine Overhaul
Disassembly of External Components
1. Remove TDC sensor and clutch housing center-
ing pin.
2. Mount the engine on a stand.
3. Lock the flywheel with TOR FD86 tool.
4. Remove exhaust manifold and inlet manifold.
5. Remove the coolant manifold.
6. Remove the alternator and belt.
7. Remove the oil filter (Fig. 57, Item 10).
8. Remove the injector pipes (Item 12).
9. Remove the glow plug leads.
10. Remove the crankcase breather pipes/oil filter/filter
pipe
assembly (Item 13).
11. Remove the oil pressure switch (Item 14).
