YoucanremovethepowerfromtheRF2CAN
andTEC2403controllersbyremovingthesource
powerfromthecircuit.
Useadampclothtokeeptheremoteclean.
Removemud,concrete,anddirtafteroperationto
preventobstructingorcloggingthebuttons,levers,
wiring,andswitches.
Donotallowliquidtoentertheremotecontrolor
base-unitenclosures.Donotusehigh-pressure
equipmenttocleantheremotecontrolorbaseunit.
DisconnecttheRF2CANandTEC2403controllers
beforeweldingonthemachine.Failureto
disconnectthecontrollersmayresultindestruction
ofordamagetothecontrollers.
Operateandstorethemachineonlywithinthe
speciedoperationandstoragetemperatures.
StartingtheEngine

Rotatingpartscancauseseriouspersonal
injury.
Keepyourhands,feet,hair,andclothing
awayfromallmovingpartsofthemachine
topreventinjury.
Neveroperatethemachinewithcovers,
shrouds,orguardsremoved.
Beforeyoustarttheengine,youmustattachthe
machinetothetowingvehicle.
1.MovethechokecontroltotheONpositionbefore
startingacoldengine.
Note:Awarmorhotenginemaynotrequire
choking.Aftertheenginestarts,movethechoke
controltotheOFFposition.
2.RotatetheengineignitionkeytotheSTART
position(Figure14).
Note:IfthekeywasleftintheRUNposition
foranextendedtime,movethekeytothe
OFFpositionbeforeproceedingtothestarting
procedure.
