1.Cleanthedirtejectionportlocatedonthe
air-ltercover.
2.Removetherubberoutletvalvefromthecover,
cleanthecavity,andreplacetheoutletvalve.
3.Inserttheair-lterelementintoair-lterhousing
(Figure20).
Note:Ensurethatthelterissealedproperly
byapplyingpressuretotheouterrimofthelter
wheninstallingit.Donotpressontheexible
centerofthelter.
4.Aligntheair-cleanercoverwiththeair-cleaner
housing(Figure20).
5.Securethecovertothehousingwiththelatches
(Figure20).

ServiceInterval:Every200hours
1.Shutofftheengine,removethekey,andwait
forallmovingpartstostopbeforeleavingthe
operatingposition.
2.Removeanddiscardthecarboncanisterair
lter,butretainthehoses(Figure21).
