WhenthePTOisengagedtostartspinningthecutting

WhenthePTOisnotengaged,themachine’sthrottle
isdependentonthepositionofthetractionpedal,just
likethethrottleonacar.
TractionPedal
Thetractionpedal(Figure40)controlstheforward
andreverseoperation.Pressthetopofthepedalto
moveforwardandthebottomtomovebackward.
Note:Inemergencybrakingsituations,remove
yourfootfromthetractionpedalandthenpivotthe
parking-brakeswitchforward(Figure39).
Cruise-ControlSwitch
Thecruise-controlswitchhas3positions:OFF,ON,
andENGAGE.
Toturnonthecruisecontrol,pivottheswitchtothe
middleposition.
Toengagethecruisecontrol,brieypivottheswitch
forward.Whencruisecontrolisengaged,thecruise
controlscreenwillappearontheInfoCenter.Usethe
InfoCenterbuttonstoadjustthecruisecontrolspeed
in0.8km/h(0.5mph)increments.
Tilt-SteeringPedal
Totiltthesteeringwheeltowardsyou,pressthefoot
pedal(Figure39)down,pullthesteeringtowertoward
youtothemostcomfortableposition,andreleasethe
pedal.
KeySwitch
Thekeyswitch(Figure39)has3positions:OFF,
ON/PREHEAT,andSTART.
Power-takeoff(PTO)Switch
WhenthePTOswitchisengaged,themachineisin
MOWmode,whichallowsyoutodriveupto13km/h
(8mph)whenthemaximumspeedisnotlimited.
WhenthePTOswitchisnotengaged(Figure41),the
machineisinTRANSPORTmode,whichallowsyou
todriveupto16km/h(10mph)whenthemaximum
speedisnotlimited.

ParkingBrake
Toengagetheparkingbrake,(Figure39)pivotthe
switchforwardontheconsole.Theredlightonthe
switchturnsonwhenitisset.T oreleasetheparking
brake,pivottheswitchbackward.
Activatingtheparking-brakeswitchcausesthetraction
toautomaticallydecelerate,regardlessoftraction
pedalposition,andengagetheparkingbrakeassoon
asthemachinecomestoastop.
Oncetheenginehasbeenshutoffandthemachineis
notmoving,theparkingbrakeengages,regardlessof
parking-brakeswitchposition.
LowerMow/RaiseControlLever
Thislever(Figure39)raisesandlowersthecutting
units.
Tolowerthecuttingunits,pushtheleverforward.
WhenthePTOswitchisENGAGED,themachineisin
MOWmode,andthecuttingunitswillstartspinning
whenlowered.
Note:Ensurethatyoulowerthecuttingunitsafter
thePTOswitchhasbeenengagedtostartthecutting
