Procedure
1.Ifthecoverisinstalled,removeitfromthehub
ofthesteeringwheel(Figure3).
2.Removethelocknut(1/2inch)fromthesteering
shaft(Figure3).
3.Slidethesteeringwheelandwasher(1/2inch)
ontothesteeringshaft(Figure3).
4.Securethesteeringwheeltotheshaftwiththe
locknut(1/2inch)andtightenitto27to34N·m
(20to25ft-lb).
5.Installthecoveronthesteeringwheel(Figure3).
