CAUTION

touchwithoutburningyourhand.
•Usearagwhenopeningtheradiatorcap,
andopenthecapslowlytoallowsteamto
escape.
Note:Usea50/50mixofethyleneglycolandwater
forcoolant.
1.Parkthemachineonalevelsurface,shutoffthe
engine,engagetheparkingbrake,andremove
thekeyfromthekeyswitch.

coolant.

Brakesareacriticalsafetycomponentofthemachine.
Aswithallsafetycomponents,theyshouldbeclosely
inspectedatregularintervalstoensureoptimum
performanceandsafety.Thefollowinginspections
shouldbedoneevery100hours:
•Inspectthebrakeliningforwearordamage.Ifthe
lining(brakepad)thicknessislessthan1.6mm
(1/16inch),thebrakeliningshouldbereplaced.
•Inspectthebackingplateandothercomponents
forsignsofexcessivewearordeformation.If
anydeformationisfound,replacetheappropriate
components.
•Checkthebrake-uidlevel;refertoCheckingthe
Brake-FluidLevel(page20).
