Usethefollowingguidelineswhenloadingthecargo
boxandoperatingthemachine:
•Observetheweightcapacityofthemachineand
limittheweightoftheloadthatyoucarryinthe
cargoboxasdescribedinSpecications(page
17)andonthegrossvehicleweighttagofthe
machine.
Note:Theloadratingisspeciedformachine
operationonalevelsurfaceonly.
•Reducetheweightoftheloadthatyoucarryin
thecargoboxwhenoperatingthemachineonhills
androughterrain.
•Reducetheweightoftheloadthatyoucarrywhen
thematerialsaretall(andhaveahighcenterof
gravity)suchasastackofbricks,landscaping
timbers,orfertilizerbags.Distributetheloadas
lowaspossible,makingsurethattheloaddoes
notreduceyourabilitytoseebehindthemachine
whenoperatingit.
•Keeploadscenteredbyloadingthecargoboxas
follows:
–Evenlypositiontheweightinthecargobox
fromsidetoside.
Important:Tippingoverismorelikelyto
occurifthecargoboxisloadedto1side.
–Evenlypositiontheweightinthecargobox
fromfronttoback.
Important:Lossofsteeringcontrolorthe
machinemaytipoverifyoupositionthe
loadbehindtherearaxleandthetraction
onthefronttiresisreduced.
•Useextracautionwhentransportingoversized
loadsinthecargobox,particularlywhenyou
cannotcentertheweightoftheoversizeloadto
thecargobox.
•Wheneverpossible,securetheloadbybindingit
tothecargoboxsoitdoesnotshift.
•Whentransportingliquidinalargetank(such
asasprayertank),usecautionwhendriving
themachineuphillordownhill,whensuddenly
changingspeedorstopping,orwhendrivingover
toughsurfaces.

boxwithoutexceedingtheloadratingsofthemachine
canvarygreatlydependingonthedensityofthe
material.Forexample,alevelboxofwetsandweighs
approximately680kg(1,500lb),whichexceedsthe
loadratingby113kg(250lb).Butalevelboxofwood
weighs295kg(650lb),whichisundertheloadrating.
