CheckingtheAirFilter
1.Raisethecargoboxandsecureitwiththeprop
rod;refertoRaisingtheCargoBox(page18).
2.Checktheair-lterbodyfordamagewhichcould
possiblycauseanairleak(Figure35).
Note:Ensurethattheair-ltercoverissealing
aroundtheair-lterhousing.
Note:Replaceadamagedair-ltercoveror
housing.

3.Pullthelatchoutwardandrotatetheair-lter
covercounterclockwise(Figure35).
4.Removethecoverfromtheair-lterbody.
5.Gentlyslidetheair-lterelementoutofthe
air-lterhousing(Figure35)toreducethe
amountofdustdislodged.
Note:Avoidknockingthelteragainstthe
air-lterhousing.
6.Inspecttheair-lterelement.
•Iftheair-lterelementisclean,installthe
lterelement,refertoInstallingtheAirFilter
(page35).
•Iftheair-lterelementisdamaged,replace
thelterelement;refertoReplacingtheAir
Filter(page35).
