•Checkengineoil,andaddthespeciedoilas
needed;refertoCheckingtheEngine-OilLevel
(page21).
•Checktheairpressureinthetires;referto
CheckingtheTirePressure(page22).
•Checkthebrakepedaloperation.
•Checktoseethatthelightsareworking.
•Turnthesteeringwheeltotheleftandrightto
checksteeringresponse.
•Checkforoilleaks,looseparts,andanyother
noticeablemalfunctions.
Note:Shutofftheengineandallowallmoving
partstostopbeforecheckingforoilleaks,loose
parts,andotherwearanddamage.
Ifanyoftheaboveitemsarenotcorrect,notifyyour
mechanicorcheckwithyoursupervisorbeforetaking
themachineoutfortheday.Yoursupervisormay
wantyoutocheckotheritemsonadailybasis,soask
