4.3 Requests to the DN611
4
4.3.5 Operation mode control request
(1) Function
This request is used to specify an operation mode for the DN module. It is valid if the
DN611 is in neither down mode nor initialize mode. Run mode (transmission
enabled) is available only when the DN611 is in standby mode and has its local node
parameters set. When the DN611 is set in run mode, slave device data is allocated to
the input/output data areas.
(2) Diagrammatic representation (Function block)
(3) Description of operation
(a) When REQ is TRUE, the DeviceNet module specified by CH, UNIT, and SLOT
executes the operation mode control request.
(b) After completion of operation mode control request processing, DONE is turned
TRUE.
(c) If operation mode control request processing is not completed in 2 seconds or
more due to an error or the like, ERR and DONE are turned TRUE.
(d) Completion status is output to STATUS.
(e) If REQ is FALSE, both DONE and ERR turn FALSE.
(f) When this function block is started (when REQ is turned TRUE), keep REQ
TRUE till DONE becomes TRUE.
