<Periodic Inspection>
Check the following items periodically (about every six months). Also check them if the
ambient conditions have changed.

Loosen the cable
setscrews and tighten
them again.
Isn't the connected cable
about to break?
Nothing abnormal in
appearance
Strip the cable end of its
sheath and connect the
cable core back to the
connector.
Is the network connector
fully inserted into the
module connector?
Cable not loose in the
module connector
Firmly insert the network
connector into the
module connector, then
tighten the setscrews.

cable installation

Isn't any trunk/drop
cable damaged?
No damage Stop the system, turn
power off, wire the
cables again.
Aren't the cables laid
near power cables or the
like?
No power cables or the
like near the
transmission cables
Keep them away from
power cables or the like.
Shield the cables.
Ambient
conditions
Check ambient
temperature, humidity,
vibration, dust, etc, that
they meet the
specifications.
General specifications Take steps to improve
the ambient conditions
