8. MAINTENANCE
8.1. Safety instructions for the repair of the product
• Some of the maintenance operations should only be carried out by professional
technicians. If you require this information and the maintenance steps, please
contact your dealer.
• Make sure you read the operating manual before carrying out maintenance.
• The operator should wear safety glasses, hearing protection, safety shoes and
safety gloves when using or maintaining the solid tyre press.
• Switch off the power completely by removing the plug from the mains socket
before carrying out any maintenance work.
• Avoid contact with high-pressure fluids at all times. High-pressure fluids can easily
penetrate clothing or skin, causing serious injuries. See annexe 11.D for medical
and first-aid information.
• Always avoid contact with electrically live parts.
• To prevent burns, fire and explosion, regularly check all pipes, hoses and
tubes. Never bend or crush the pipes! Have damaged pipes or hoses repaired
immediately.
• Ensure a clean working environment, free from oil or obstacles.
• Rubber and plastic hoses must be replaced with equivalent hoses after 6 years.
• Use only original or equivalent parts.
• Always use proper and good tools.
• Do not wear loose clothing so that the clothing cannot get caught in the solid tyre
press.
• Only people who work with the solid tyre press may be in the vicinity of the device.
Other people must keep a minimum distance of 3 metres
• Do not carry out repairs or maintenance work while the solid tyre press is running.
First, cut off the power supply
Contact the service and repair department if you have any technical questions or if
your tyre press shows a complex defect.
Please identify your tyre press by the serial number on the type plate so that you can
be assisted as quickly as possible.
