It will take about thirty seconds for a smooth
flow of water to be obtained while air and any
debris is being flushed from the shower. When a
smooth flow of water is obtained, disconnect the
electricity supply to the shower at the isolating
switch. This will stop the water flow. Unscrew
the cover retaining screws again and lift the
cover from the backplate.
Attached to the control PCB inside the cover
is a 14-way ribbon cable. The ribbon cable
connector must be plugged into the socket
located on the power PCB inside the unit
(fig.20). The connector can only be correctly
plugged in one way because of a location lug on
the plug. The ribbon cable also has a coloured
edge which is on the right-hand side when
correctly fitted to the socket.
