7.3 Clean/change air filter with installed
flexible air conditioning intake
(optional)
With a built-in flexible air conditioning system intake,
the air filter is located in the end frame of the intake
(Fig. 21-1), not in the Saphir housing.

To change the air filter, slide the Saphir US lamellar
insert and air filter in an upwards direction to re-
lease.

Re-fit the air filter and Saphir US lamellar insert from
the top (Fig. 21-2) and (Fig. 21-3).

8 Maintenance
8.1 Change air filter
There is an air filter on the front of the device for
cleaning the room air. The air filter (Fig. 24-1) must be
checked at regular intervals (at least 2x per year) and
changed if required.

Remove the cold air ducts.

Before replacing the air filter, release the clip
(Fig. 22-2) and the sensor (Fig. 22-1) located on the
Saphir US lamellar insert using a flat-bladed screw-
driver.

Pull the Saphir US lamellar insert a little way forward
at the recesses at the top edge (Fig. 23-1) and pull
out upwards (Fig. 23-2).
