3.5 Replacing the Print Head Assembly
1. Open the printer top cover by pulling the top cover open levers located on each side
towards the front of the printer, then lift the top cover to the maximum open angle. Open
the ribbon access cover.
2. Use the slotted screwdriver to remove the 2 screws that hold the print head bracket. Let
print head bracket drops into its place.
3. Use the slotted screwdriver to remove 2 screws that fix the print head spring plate.
4. Pull the print head module forward to take out the module and disconnect the print head
harness. Replace the print head assembly.
