1. Open the case (see Opening
the Case) and remove
display (see Display
Replacement).
2. Remove the three (3) nylon
fasteners holding the main
board in place using a nut
driver or pliers and turning
them counter-clockwise.
C A U T I O N
The electronic circuits within this instrument are susceptible to
electro-static discharge (ESD) damage. Use ESD precautions to
avoid damage.
• Use only a table top with a grounded conducting surface.
• Wear a grounded, static-discharging wrist strap.
3. Lift Main PCA
up and remove
battery. Install
new battery
(700195).
Note that “+”
side is up.
4. Install main
PCA back in
the case.
5. Install Display
and Cover.
