6. Turn the potentiometer on the detector board counterclockwise
approximately five (5) turns.
7. Remove the two Phillips head screws holding the laser board
in place.
8. Pull the laser board away
from the optics block and
fold it back to expose the
laser diode. Use a
needle nosed pliers to
grab the laser diode and
gently pull the laser
diode out of the sockets
on the laser board.
