8. Pull the laser board
away from the optics
block and fold it back
to expose the laser
diode. Use a needle
nosed pliers to grab
the laser diode and
gently pull the laser
diode out of the
sockets on the
laser board.
9. Remove laser diode from service kit S7000009. Install the new laser
with plastic spacer into the laser board.
10. Position the laser/laser board assembly back into the optics block
and re-attach with the two screws. Leave the screws loose for
alignment later.
