(2) Changing
① Unscrew the drain plug on the
lower section of the transmission
to drain contaminated transmis-
sion fluid. Since hot fluid flows out
of the engine first, be careful not
to get burnt.
② After draining fluid, tighten the
transmission fluid drain plug.
③ Add the specified amount of
the specified transmission fluid
through the filler hole.
Do not add fluid over the upper
limit level.
Check the fluid before starting
the engine or at least in 5 min-
utes after the engine is stopped.
When trying to use new fluid
from a different manufacturer
or fluid with different viscosity,
drain used fluid completely be-
fore adding new fluid.
