5. TRANSMISSION STRAINER CLEANING
TRANSMISSION STRAINER
CLEANING
① When changing transmission fluid,
clean with diesel fuel.
② Unscrew the filter body support bolt
from the right lower section of the
rear transmission case and gently
pull the filter with pliers to remove
it.

REPLACING ENGINE OIL
FILTER CARTRIDGE
① Remove the engine oil filter car-
tridge by turning it counterclock-
wise with a wrench.
② Apply a thin film of oil to the
O-ring of a new cartridge and
install th e new cartridge by
tightening it with a hand. When
its packing touches the sealing
surface,
turn it approx. 2/3 turns
further with a wrench.
③
Put the engine oil to the speci-
fied level in new oil filter car-
tridge.
