MAINTENANCE AND SERVICE
Run the engine for approx. 5
minutes and check for proper
operation through the engine oil
warning lamp. Then, stop the
engine.
(This warning lamp should be
turned off while the engine is
running.)
Check the oil level with the dip-
stick again. If still insufficient,
add more.
6. FUEL SYSTEM
FUEL SYSTEM
Use only low sulfur or ultra low sul-
fur diesel fuel.
(1) Fuel tank
If foreign materials, such as
dust and sand, or water are
mixed in fuel, it can deteriorate
the performance of the fuel in-
jection pump. Make sure to add
quality fuel through the strainer.

(2) How to bleed fuel system
It is necessary to bleed the system
under the following conditions.
- The engine is stopped due to the
empty fuel tank.
- The filter or pipe is removed.
Unscrew the bleeding screw.
Start the engine.
When clean fuel flows out of the
bleeding screw, tighten the screw.
Repeat the procedure if the system
is not bled completely.
