CHECKING AND CHANGING
TRANSMISSION FLUID
(1) Inspection
Perform inspection with the engine
stopped.

Check the transmission fluid level
through the sight glass to see if
the level is between the upper and
lower limits.
② If insufficient, add oil.

If engine oil gets on your skin, it
can irritate the skin and cause
a skin condition. Make sure to
clean your skin with soap and
water or hand cleaner thorough-
ly.
Make sure to cool down the
engine sufficiently before drain-
ing oil. Oil is very hot and can
cause a burn if changing oil
right after the engine is stopped.
