6.12 Setting the dialling mode
There are two dialling modes:
DTMF/tone dialling (default and most commonly used mode)
Pulse dialling (in older devices)
To change the dialling mode:

You can change the name that appears on the screen (max. 12 characters) during idle stage:
7 Phonebook
You can program 50 phonebook entries in the phone’s memory. Names can be up to 14 characters
long and numbers up to 24 digits.

1 Hold down the Flash key to toggle between the two dialling modes.
"PULSE" appears for pulse mode, "TONE" for tone (DTMF) mode.
The device reverts to standby mode after 5 seconds.
It is possible to change the dialling mode accidentally by holding down the Flash
key for 5 seconds in standby mode. In the wrong dialling mode, phone numbers will
not be dialled correctly, if at all.
1 Press the menu key.
2 Select “NAME” and confirm.
3 Use the mute key to delete and enter the new name.
4 Press to confirm.
5 Press the INT -key to return to stand-by.
1 Hold down the phonebook key until the symbol appears in the display.
2 Enter the name and press the menu key to confirm.
3 Enter the telephone number you want to store and the menu key to
confirm.
You will here a confirmation tone.
1 Press the phonebook key.
2 Scroll to the name or press the first charcter of the name you want.
3 Press menu key to see the telephonenumber.
4 Press the call key.
The telephone number is automatically dialled.
5 Press the call key again to end the call.
