2-6-2. External control terminal supplementary description
The external control terminal wiring carries a risk of noise interference if the wiring is long. ULVAC
recommends the measures below.
1. recommends shielded twisted pair cables.
2. Isolate the signal on the external connection device-side with a photocoupler or other
component.
3. When routing the cables, do not bundle them with power lines.
4. establish the connection in the shortest wiring.
Signal levels
●Digital signals Digital signal input (DI) 24 V 5mA or more
Signals are active at low Digital signal output (DO) 24 V 5mA to 20mA/1ch
●Analog signals Analog signal input (AI) 0 to +10 V
Analog signal output (AO) Voltage 0 to 1500 V /0 to 10 V
Current 0 to 60 A * /0 to 10 V
Power 0 to 30 kW * /0 to 10 V
