7.2 Firmware compatibility
MiCard MultiTech4 readers with a firmware older than V3.23
With release of the AppBlaster (NT-ware Edition) 3.23 the AppBlaster (NT-ware
Edition) equally requires the base firmware version of the MiCard MultiTech4 card
reader to be 3.23 (or higher) and Encrypted NT-ware Boot Loader. This is because it
contains some security-related updates that were required with the new version of the
AppBlaster (NT-ware Edition).
Upgrading a MiCard MultTech4 from the previously released firmware versions (e.g.,
3.12/3.20) to version 3.23 is not possible.
