This is an easy issue to resolve by following the steps below:
1 Uninstall your MESA base.
2 Adjust the level adjustment foot to achieve proper recline level.
3 NOTE: The level angle indicators are located on either side of
the base and bubble must be within the lines. In cases where
a waterfall is present, we recommend extending the foot to its
HIGHEST position.
4 Push the base into the seat back. If there is a gap between the top
of the MESA base and the back of the vehicle seat, place a rolled hand
towel in the gap flush with the top of the base.
5 Proceed to BASE INSTALLATION WITH VEHICLE SEAT BELT
(pg 32 or 34) based on your method of installation). Follow Safety
Check (pg 38) to confirm proper installation.
