CHAPTER 2
GENERAL
The HMT360 series transmitters are microprocessor based two-wire
transmitters for measuring relative humidity and temperature in
hazardous areas requiring EX classification. Connect the transmitter
always via galvanic isolators or zener barriers in hazardous
environments.
Output quantities
The transmitter has a local display and two output current channels.
The available quantities are described in Table 2 on page 35.
Probe options
The HMT360 transmitter series has various options for transmitter
units, sensor heads and cable lengths (2.5 and 10 m). The available
probe types are the following:
