WRM-10P/WRM-40 OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
This display does not prompt any action but
simply reminds the user that a test is in
progress. The time for this display depends
on size of the winding’s inductance and the
test mode selected.
f. The WRM-10P/40 determines when the
resistance reading is stable and shows the
resistance value on the LCD as follows:
The WRM-10P/40 continues to apply test
voltage on the transformer’s windings and
updates the resistance value on the display.
g. The user presses the STOP key to retain
this data.
h. Press the ENTER. The print-option menu
is now displayed.
i. Press key #1 to print test results. Typical
WRM-10P/40 test report is shown in figure
8.0 and Figure 9.0.
j. Select key #2 to bypass printing results.
When either option is selected, the next
window displays with the prompt “KEEP
THIS READING?”
k. Select NO from “KEEP THIS
READING?” will take the user to the “RUN
ANOTHER TEST?” menu (Step o).
l. If the “KEEP THIS READING?” prompt
is answered with a YES, one of two
following displays will appear. The “TEST
SAVED” display advises that the resistance
measurement had been saved in the working
memory.
or
The WRM-10P/40 retains the current test
results in a no-volatile working memory. If
the WRM-10P/40 is power off accidentally,
the user can start a new test and append the
new test result to the previous test results.
To append previous test results to new test,
go to step m.
If the user selects to keep only the new test
results, go to step n.
