Chapter 3: Parameter Explain and Fault Process
3.1 Solar pump controller changes output frequency and calculates PV panel
output power in real-time, then compare output power to search maximum power.
1 .E-02(Frequency give main channel selection) set as 10 is solar pump control mode.
2. Automatic stop for alarm:
a. If F04 parameter set as 27 for solar pump control pause ( Input digital terminal X4 signal select
for solar pump stop function). When normal open termial X4 and COM is activated for close
condition, the solar pump working will be stop. It is used for water level alarm output and stop
the machine.
b. While the solar panel outputs low power, H-32 (Lowest run frequency),H-33(Lowest run
frequency duration time),H-34(Stop and wait time) can be set.
c. While input voltage is lower than run voltage. It will output valid signal if output terminals Y1,Y2
set as 1 : fault jump alarm1 and 2: fault jump alarm, the output signal is valid.
3. Start and accelerate to bus voltage and lower than upper limit voltage. After start, solar pump
controller makes bus voltage lower than upper limit voltage according to certain ACC speed. If
output frequency is still lower than H-32 lowest run frequency while it is lower than upper limit
voltage, it accelerates by E-13 ACC time.
4. Automatic dormancy parameter setting (Sleep mode setting); The solar pump controller enters
dormancy state while the input bus voltage is under H-35(Automatic dormancy voltage) and
runs again while the input bus voltage is bigger than H-36(Renew voltage in dormancy). If it
continuously runs under H-32 (lowest run frequency)
≤3 times, stop and wait time is H-34 set
time *1,If ≤6 times,stop and wait time is H-34 set time *4,If≤9 times, stop and wait time is H-34
set time *8,If ≤12 times,stop and wait time is H-34 set time *16,If ≥13 times,stop and wait time
is H-60 set time (default 15 minutes). H-61 can check the times. Adjust dormancy can change
H-34 set time.
5. Quick reduce frequency function: While bus voltage is bigger than H-35 (Automatic dormancy
voltage) and smaller than H-37 (Max MPPT voltage setting), output frequency quickly reduces
by H-59 (Quick reduce frequency ratio)
6. ACC/DEC time set explain
While the output frequency is lower than H-32 (lowest run frequency), it ACC/DEC according to
ACC/DEC time setting.
While the output frequency is higher than H-32 (lowest run frequency), it ACC/DEC according
to 0.1s ACC/DEC time.
