Procedure 3. Set Dynamic Light Control (Optional)
Dynamic Light Control (DLC) is designed to assist in optimizing image quality and brightness at the vocal
cords. DLC is only available when a compatible laryngoscope is connected to the monitor
1. With a compatible laryngoscope connected to the monitor, tap anywhere on the Home screen.
2. Tap the More button.
3. Tap the Dynamic Light Control button. The icon is gold when turned on.
If the Dynamic Light Control button does not show and the connected laryngoscope is compatible, the
main DLC setting may need to be turned on. For information on accessing the system menu, see Congure
User Settings (Optional) on page 18.
Procedure 4. Record Video or Take a Snapshot
Please read the Warnings & Cautions section before performing the following tasks.
The monitor is equipped with a video recording feature and the ability to save snapshots of the live display
on the monitor. The system saves this data to its internal memory. You can export the video recordings and
snapshots from the video monitor to a USB ash drive to view them on a computer.
By default, the automatic video recording option is disabled. When automatic video recording is enabled, the
monitor starts recording once a scope is connected, or once the monitor is powered on with a scope already
connected.
AUTOMATIC RECORDING SETTINGS
1. Tap anywhere on the Home screen.
2. When the additional icons appear, tap the More button, and then tap the Settings button.
3. In the Settings menu, tap Features, and then tap Snapshot / Video.
4. Toggle the Auto Record option as needed.
MANUAL RECORDING AND SNAPSHOTS
1. Tap anywhere on the Home screen.
2. When the additional icons appear, tap the Record button. The Record button turns yellow while the
monitor prepares to record, and then red to indicate the recording has started and is being saved to the
monitor.
3. When you are nished recording, tap the Record button again. The recording stops.
4. If you would like to save a photo of the live display, press the Snapshot button. A frame briey
appears around the video to indicate the snapshot has been taken. This can also be done while
recording video.
