1.4.2. Outdoor Unit
Vertiv™ Liebert® DM outdoor unit consists of condenser coil, fan, and fan speed controller.
• Condenser Coil
The unit is equipped with an uniquely designed finned-tube heat exchanger (condenser) with wavy fin on the surface, which
facilitate high heat transfer rate. The condenser also has anti-dust feature over its surface thereby enables easy cleaning
and maintenance of the outdoor unit.
• Fan
The fan has axial flow blades with low noise and a high performance 3 Ph induction motor which can be customized to
operate on a wide voltage range with high reliability.

• Fan Speed Controller (Only for 22 kW and 27 kW)
The Liebert DM unit is equipped with a fan speed controller that is used to control the fan speed according to the
requirements of the air conditioner condenser based on the condenser pressure and input conditions. The fan speed
controller is installed in the outdoor unit, and used to control the speed of the outdoor unit fan.
