How to fix Vertiv Air Conditioner compressor that can’t be started?
    • D
      Douglas JimenezAug 18, 2025
If the Vertiv Air Conditioner compressor won’t start, check the main power for under-voltage, over-voltage, and phase loss. Also, inspect the compressor MCB, contactor, and connecting cables. View the unit alarm records, replace any damaged components, and power it on again. If the compressor coils are shorted or burnt, check the motor and replace it if needed.

What to do if Vertiv Air Conditioner has low suction pressure or liquid returned?
    • D
      davidfinleyAug 21, 2025
If you are experiencing low suction pressure or liquid returned in your Vertiv Air Conditioner, check for leaks and seal any leaking points before adding refrigerant. Replace the air filter if it is dirty and replace the filter drier if it is clogged. Inspect the control board and sensing element of the electronic expansion valve (EEV), replacing the sensing element if faulty. Also, check the air supply and return system for improper airflow distribution, and inspect the condenser for faults related to low condensing pressure.

What to do if Vertiv Air Conditioner high pressure protection is on?
    • J
      Jessica BennettAug 23, 2025
If the high-pressure protection is activated on your Vertiv Air Conditioner, start by cleaning the condenser. If you have an air-cooled system, check the condenser fan. Also, verify that the sub-cooling degree isn't too high, indicating that too much refrigerant has been charged.

Why Vertiv Liebert CR012 EC fan can’t be started?
    • C
      Catherine PadillaAug 26, 2025
If the EC fan of your Vertiv Air Conditioner isn’t starting, verify that the fan MCB is closed and that each phase's power voltage is normal. Check J15 on the micro-processing control board to see if the control board is faulty. Also, check the alarm lamp on the fan power module to determine if it’s faulty. Inspect L1, L2, and L3 of the fan for power failure, phase loss, and low voltage. Ensure the analog output is within the range of 0 ~ 10Vdc. Check if the motor is clogged or too hot, and check for Hall failure.

What to do if Vertiv Liebert CR012 compressor is too noisy?
    • C
      Charles LloydAug 28, 2025
If your Vertiv Air Conditioner's compressor is excessively noisy, it might be due to liquid return, so refer to the troubleshooting steps for 'Low suction pressure' or 'liquid returned'. It could also be caused by worn bearings due to lubricant loss, in which case you should add lubricant.

What to do if Vertiv Liebert CR012 Air Conditioner heating system does not start?
    • P
      Philip SmithAug 30, 2025
If the heating system of your Vertiv Air Conditioner doesn't start and the contactor doesn't close, check the state of the micro-processing controller to confirm if there is a heating command. Use a multi-meter to measure the resistance on both ends of the temperature controller; if the resistance is very large, it indicates that the safety device may be open. Next, check whether the fuse is open and the temperature controller is damaged. Measure the resistance of the heater with an ohmmeter to judge if the heater is damaged.

What to do if Vertiv Air Conditioner contactor closes, but heating is ineffective?
    • R
      Rebecca DavisSep 1, 2025
If the contactor in your Vertiv Air Conditioner closes but the heating is ineffective, check if the heater's MCB is turned ON and whether the L1, L2, and L3 voltages are normal when the contactor is energized. Also, turn off the power and physically inspect the condition of the electric heater to see if it has burned out.

What to do if Vertiv Liebert CR012 has low exhaust pressure?
    • J
      Judy WatkinsSep 4, 2025
If your Vertiv Air Conditioner has low exhaust pressure, locate the refrigerant leakage point, repair it, and add refrigerant. If the fan speed controller of the outdoor unit is faulty, and the output voltage remains at 100% regardless of changes in condensing pressure, replace the fan speed controller.

What to do if Vertiv Liebert CR012 compressor stops after running for 3 minutes?
    • T
      Thomas Cook DVMSep 6, 2025
If the Vertiv Air Conditioner compressor stops after running for 3 minutes and the contactor opens, check the suction pressure for refrigerant leaks, which may cause a low-pressure reading. Also, check the circuit of the low-pressure sensor and calibrate the low-pressure sensor reader to be within ±0.3 bar range of the actual pressure.

What does it mean if Vertiv Liebert CR012 Air Conditioner suction and exhaust pressures do not change after startup?
    • C
      Christopher StaffordSep 8, 2025
If the suction and exhaust pressures of your Vertiv Air Conditioner do not change after startup, it indicates that either the compressor is reversed or the internal air tightness of the compressor has failed. If the compressor is reversed, exchange any two L lines of the compressor. If the internal air tightness of the compressor has failed and cannot be restored, replace the compressor.
