Preparation at the field
Machine with hydraulic safety breakaway
> Open the valve at the hydraulic cylinder and at the hydraulic safety
breakaway
From the tractor seat:
> Use the hydraulic cylinder to lower and swing the machine into hor-
izontal working position beside the tractor
> Use the 3-point hitch to lower the machine to the desired working
height
Fixed height
In working position, the machine must be fixed at a certain height

Cutting height ad-
justment
Only in horizontal position
Before adjusting the cutting height, the mowing unit must be
• positioned horizontally
• prevented from unwanted lowering
Wear safety shoes
During all work at the machine never bring your feet under the ma-
chine and always wear safety shoes. Wearing safety shoes prevents
or decreases the risk of serious injuries.
The cutting height is adjusted through spacers between the skid disc
and the mowing disc. One spacer per mowing disc is standard mount-
ed. Extra spacers are optional.

No more than three spacers per skid disc may be mounted.
> Remove the mowing disc
> Remove the skid disc
> Mount spacers over the skid disc = increasing mowing height
> Mount spacers under the skid disc = decreasing mowing height
> Mount the skid disc
