The Vitopend 100-W must only be
delivered to the countries specified on
the type plate. For deliveries to alterna-
tive countries, an approved contractor
must arrange individual approval on
their own initiative and in accordance
with the law of the country in question.
Product description
The Vitopend 100-W is supplied as a
gas system boiler (heat only) for heat-
ing mode, or alternatively as a gas
combi boiler with integral plate heat
exchanger for DHW heating.
The appliance is equipped with a
sealed unvented hydraulic system with
2 connections for the heating flow and
return and 2 connections for direct
DHW heating (gas combi boiler).
The following components are integra-
ted into the hydraulic system:
■ Circulation pump
■ 3-way diverter valve
■ Safety valve
■ Diaphragm expansion vessel
■ Plate heat exchanger for DHW heat-
ing (only for gas combi boilers)
Siting
Suitable siting locations include:
■ Adjacent rooms without their own
ventilation
■ Cupboards (open at the top)
■ Recesses without compulsory clear-
ance towards combustible materials
■ Attic rooms (pitched attics and long
panes) where the balanced flue pipe
can be routed directly through the
roof
Siting in living spaces and bedrooms is
not allowed.
Maintain a distance of at least 100 mm
between the flue pipe connection piece
and combustible materials.
The installation room must be free from
the risk of frost.
