Chain tensioning
10 To retension steering chain (Fig 4.1):
10.1 Slacken the shaft bolt (1) on the adjustable sprocket(2) and rotate the eccentric shaft (3) using a
tommy bar, until little or no deflection of the chain is possible.
10.2 Retighten the bolt (1).
11 To retension wheel chain (Fig 4.1):
11.1 Slacken the bolt (4) under the adjustable sprocket (5) and reposition block until the slack on the
longest free length is 10 mm (3/8in.).
11.2 Retighten the bolt (4).
NOTE: The column bearing tracks do not require any lubricant.
