Test program for TCP/IP connections
TCPTest.exe is to be found at the service area using the link
www.vipa.de/support/software. You can use this test program to create
simple TCP/IP connections and analyze them.
TCPTest requires no further installation, is executable at usual operating
systems and communicates via Ethernet.
The following section provides a short introduction to the test-program.
For this purpose please start TCPTEST.EXE. The test program is executed
and displays the following window:
The menu has the appearance of tab sheets. The respective dialog window
can be displayed by left clicking with the mouse.
Tab sheets
Connect window containing the status of the connections and the
local IP-address.
ReadA configuration window for READ AKTIV connections
(FETCH).
WriteA configuration window for WRITE AKTIV connections.
Receive configuration window for RECEIVE connections.
Send configuration window for SEND connections.
System control windows for status requests and toggling between
RUN/STOP of the CP.
