Period of inactivity
Before a period of inactivity longer than 72 hours
Before the water dispenser is inactive for a period of more than 72 hours,
proceed as follows:

Danger to health due to a lack of hygiene!
Do not disconnect the water dispenser from the power supply.

2. Close the CO
2
bottle valve.
3. Place a note on your dispenser to ensure no one uses it
while the water supply is disconnected.
1. Turn off the water supply.
WARNING! Danger to health due to a lack of hygiene!
Risk of microbial growth whenever your water dispenser is discon-
nected from its power supply for more than 120 minutes. If disconnected for
longer (but less than 24 hours), restart your dispenser and ush it as explained
below (for 4 days” to 4 weeks” inactivity). If the dispenser is disconnected for
more than 24 hours, system sanitization and lter replacement are necessary.

Caution! After an inactivity period from 4 days up to 4 weeks, ush
the water dispenser with 2.5 gal of unchilled still, 2.5 gal of chilled
still, 5 gal of sparkling water and 1.25 gal of hot water (large boiler: 2.5 gal).
After a period of more than four weeks, system sanitization and lter replace-
ment are necessary. Please contact customer service (see back page).
After a longer period of inactivity
After an inactive period longer than 24 hours or a power failure, clean the tap,
housing and drip tray with antibacterial wipes and disinfectant spray, reconnect
the water supply and open the CO
2
bottle valve. Place a vessel on the drip tray
and ush the water dispenser with:
