Using the device

Startup On/Off
Caution:
Ensure that the device has
been standing upright for 24 hours
before starting up! Danger of dam-
age to cooling system!
Caution:
After 72 hours of nonuse, rinse
the water dispenser thoroughly (see
Period of inactivity” on page 30).
The installation and initial commis-
sioning must be carried out exclu-
sively by the manufacturer or by a
qualied person.

more information (see back page).
The On/Off switch (7) is to be found
at the front of the of the cooler/
cooler-carbonator (6) on the water
dispenser undercounter unit.
Set switch (7) to position I to
switch it on.
Set switch (7) to position O to
switch it off.
The boiler is not equipped with a
separate switch. It is activated or
deactivated by the cooler/cooler-
carbonator.
Dispensing water
Caution:
The water dispenser has to
be installed in locations which have
free access and can be monitored
by trained personnel.
1. Set a suitable vessel under the
outlet.
2. Dispense the desired water type
by pressing the respective button.
3. Press button until the desired
amount of water is dispensed.
Make sure not to overll the
vessel.
Note: A safety feature interrupts
dispensing after 90 seconds of con-
tinuous dispensing (exception hot
water: after 30 seconds). Release
and press button again to continue
dispensing.
Note: Depending on the selected
performance option, the system may
not include all 5 water types. In gen-
eral, the C-Tap is able to provide all
5 water types. The I-Tap is not able
to provide hot water, only the 4 cold
water types.
