Qualied person
The qualied person has under-
gone training for the assigned
tasks and has been instructed
on possible dangers caused by
improper behaviour.
Manufacturer
Certain work may only be per-
formed by the personnel of the
manufacturer.
Other persons are not autho-
rized to carry out this work.
Contact customer service for
implementation of the necessary
work.
Operator
The operator is the owner or les-
see of the water dispenser who
makes it available to the user.
• The operator has been in-
structed in the operation of
the water dispenser by the
manufacturer or by a qualied
person.
• The operator has been in-
formed about their obligation to
maintain a log book provided
by the manufacturer or by a
qualied person.
• The operator is aware of the
dangers in handling CO
2
bot-
tles and is capable of safely
replacing the CO
2
bottles.
• The operator is familiar with
the hygiene regulations ap-
plicable to the operation of a
beverage dispenser.
• The operator has complete-
ly read and understood the
instructions.
User
The user uses and operates the
water dispenser for the intended
purpose without any other previ-
ous experience.
A user is designated as any per-
son who uses the appliance for
dispensing water.
Danger to life for unautho-
rized persons from improper
handling!
Unauthorized persons who do
not full the requirements de-
scribed here do not know the
dangers in handling the appli-
ance. For this reason, there is a
danger for unauthorized persons
of serious or even fatal injuries.
Damage could also be caused
to the environment.
• Unauthorized persons my not
open the appliance.
• Unauthorized persons may not
carry out any maintenance or
repair work.
• The operator must ensure that
the user only dispenses water.
• The dened qualications for
all tasks in these instructions
must be fullled.
Operator’s duties
The water dispenser is used on
commercial premises. For this
reason, the operator of the water
dispenser is subject to the stat-
utory and regulatory obligations
for occupational safety, hygiene
and accident prevention.
• Consult the manufacturer even
in the case of a change of
location.
Danger to health from
contamination!
Not following the hygiene guide-
lines can lead to contamination
of the end product and could be
harmful for the consumer.
• Observe all statutory regula-
tions and hygiene guidelines.
• Always ensure proper hygiene
at the installation location.
• Ensure that the operating envi-
ronment of the water dispens-
ers corresponds to the stated
specications.
• Always maintain the cleaning
intervals.
• Always maintain the disinfec-
tion intervals.
• Always maintain the intervals
for replacing lters.
• Flush the water dispenser
after a period of inactivity of
24 hours.
• Flush the water dispenser
after more than 120 minutes of
being disconnected from the
power supply (see “Period of
inactivity” on page 30).
• Always avoid contact with the
tap outlet.
Danger of injury through slip-
ping in puddles of water!
Slipping in puddles of water on
the oor could cause a fall. A fall
could result in injuries.
• Wipe up puddles of water us-
ing a cloth immediately.
• Check the drip tray and waste
water container regularly and
empty it if necessary.
Danger from insufcient qual-
ication of persons!
Insufciently qualied persons
cannot estimate the risks in
handling the appliance, and they
subject themselves and others
to serious or fatal injuries and
can damage the environment.
• Only permit qualied persons
to carry out all the work.
• Keep insufciently qualied
persons out of the working area.
All work should only be carried
out by those persons who can
be expected to perform the work
reliably. Persons whose ability
to react is impaired, for example
from drugs, alcohol or medica-
tion, are not permitted.
The appliance can only be used
by children aged 8 and over, as
well as persons with impaired
physical, sensory or mental
abilities, or a lack of experi-
ence and knowledge, if they are
supervized or have been given
instructions on the safe use of
the appliance and understand
the resulting dangers. Children
may not play with the appliance.
Cleaning and maintenance may
not be carried out by children.
