RECORDING AND DELETING MEASUREMENTS14.
Depending on the type, the digital multimeter can record 10 (VC920/VC940) or 10,000 (VC960) measured
values.
Proceed as follows to save measurements:
With the measuring device on, press the STORE button once.•
Using the “HOLD >” button, select “Delete memory and start recording from the beginning” (no. 0000) •
or “Start at next free memory location” (e.g., no. 0005).
Press “STORE” again. “STO” appears on the display. The time interval in seconds is shown on the left •
subdisplay.
You can enter any time interval from 1 to 256 seconds using “+” and “-”. The DMM automatically •
records and saves the currently measured value after the selected time interval.
For manual saving of measured values, set the time interval to “0” (default).•
Press “STORE” a third time to start recording the measured values. The number of memory locations •
used is shown on the left subdisplay. The right subdisplay shows the currently saved value, and the
main display shows the currently measured value.
In addition, during automatic saving you can press the STORE button at any time to perform a manual •
save. The counter indicates this.
If the memory is full, the first memory location will be overwritten.•
To stop the save operation, press the EXIT button.•
RETRIEVING SAVED MEASUREMENTS15.
Proceed as follows to retrieve saved measurements:
With the measuring device on, press the RECALL button and hold down for approx. 1 second.•
“RCL” appears on the display. The left subdisplay shows the current memory location, the right •
subdisplay the number of saved values, and the main display the saved measurement.
Press the “HOLD >” button to transmit all saved measurement data to the interface. The data is read •
out automatically and can be processed further (please follow the instructions for the software; these
instructions are in PDF form on the supplied CD). The readout operation ends by itself when all data
has been transmitted.
You can manually read the data from all memory locations to the display using “+” and “-”.•
To stop this function, press the EXIT button.•
LONG-TERM RECORDING16.
For use of the DMM for long-term recordings, the DMM can output the currently measured value online to
the interface for further processing by the software via the SEND function.
To activate the SEND function, press the “MAXMIN/SEND” button and hold down for approx. 1 second
until “SEND” appears on the display. To deactivate the function, press the EXIT button.
